"...and to the ends of the earth."

Memorial is blessed to have people eager to share the gospel in word and deed to people in distant lands. We send funds as well as volunteers to do the work of the gospel to the ends of the earth in fulfillment of Christ's great commission. Our primary partner is The Outreach Foundation.

2011 short term mission trips

Piedras Negras, Mexico. We team up with South Highland Presbyterian in Birmingham, and First Presbyterian in Auburn to send people to construct a house for a local family. Dates: May 29 - June 4. Estimated funds needed: $1,500 per person. Trip completed!

Mantanzas, Cuba. A team of 12 people will be heading to Cuba to develop a relationship with a local seminary, which works with local pastors and church leaders on a variety of projects and pastor training. Dates: September 15-22. Estimated funds needed: $1,600 per person. Trip closed!

Middle East (location undisclosed). Our pastor will be part of a team to do pastor training in a sensitive area of the Middle East. Dates: November 8-17. Estimated funds needed: $2,300. Trip closed!

2012 short term mission trips

Mantanzas, Cuba. A team of women will be returning to Cuba in the Spring of 2012. The purpose of the trip is to work with local women in church leadership to provide support to the local community including HIV/AIDS ministry support. More information to follow. Dates: TBA. The estimated cost for the trip is $1,600 per person. Trip open!
