Elder Caregivers' Morning Out

Welcome to a special place

Each week our caring and trained volunteers with your older loved one to provide 1-to-1 and group attention. We accept seniors in a variety of stages of aging, including alzheimers. However, we do not provide nursing care.

Who is eligible?

We receive participants regardless of church affliiation.

When do you meet?

We provide this service on Tuesday mornings from 9 AM - 12:00 PM

How much does this service cost?

This ministry is funded by the church entirely. It is free to participants.

Is lunch provided?

On the first Tuesday of each month Country Cottages provides our group with a catered lunch.

What activities will occupy my parent or loved one?

We play dominoes, have snacks, enjoy lively conversation, and laugh with each other. Children in our Children's Center will often come and serenade our group. When someone needs to walk or requires use of a restroom that person is accompanied by one of our volunteers.

Are there physical requirements or restrictions I should be aware of?

We do not have a nurse on site so we cannot deliver medication. Incontinence issues are addressed in our manual and registration forms. We do not currently have these resources available online so please use the form below to receive more information.
