Our Vision

The Memorial 2015 Vision Statement

In the Spring of 2010, the Alban Institute consulted with Memorial to arrive at a vision statement that reflects our core values.

In 2015, Memorial will be a church that:

     Is rooted in scripture

     Is engaged in local and global mission

     Values and ministers to children here and in the community

     Provides music as a ministry to all ages

     Worships together

What's the priority and where are we in our vision?

Hands-on mission and a deep experience of God's Word have emerged as the top priorities within this larger vision. We are, thus, moving toward being a mission oriented body rather than driven by programs. We have the financial means, physical capability, committed lay leadership, and membership base to achieve this vision statement.
